We’re two sisters raised in the world of leather. With a father deeply rooted in the leather business for over 35 years, our childhood was steeped in the scent of leather and the art of craftsmanship.

Selden, based in Antwerp—the fashion capital of Belgium—and Sinem, living in vibrant Istanbul, a city where tradition meets creativity, decided to channel their heritage and passion into something extraordinary. Inspired by our roots and our father’s journey, we set out to redefine leather craftsmanship with a modern, feminine perspective.

At KASA People, our name honors our grandparents—two extraordinary individuals who embodied creativity, connection, and the courage to be unapologetically themselves.

Our grandmother was a visionary seamstress who saw endless possibilities in every piece of fabric. Our grandfather, a true people person, connected with strangers through warmth, kindness, and the universal language of human connection.
